What’s New in the 2021 RAM 1500

Interiors
The 2021 RAM 1500 interior is the most luxurious in its class. When you’re in the vehicle, we want you to be refreshed and rejuvenated. With noise-cancelling technology, we reduce ambient sound and amp up indoor quiet, so all you have to think about is the next task on the list. 
You and your passengers can rest easy while charging all your devices. Our media center provides easy-access auxiliary ports, up to four USB charging ports, and three 115-volt outlets designed to keep all your most essential devices wired, charged, and available when you need them most.
If you need some fresh air, consider our available 10-square-foot panoramic sunroof. You and your passengers get an unobstructed view of blue skies or starry nights. This sunroof provides unparalleled doses of Vitamin D – on demand! 
You’ll notice purposeful design throughout the 2021 RAM 1500. Available in-floor storage provides ample space for tools, valuables, or any other items you need to keep out of general sightlines.  
We know you’ll love the reconfigurable center console with enough room for a 15-inch laptop, hanging files, and space for Type-C USB high-speed charging ports. The upper glove compartment provides a little extra room for those smaller cargo pieces or important papers. The lower locking glove compartment is perfect for safe storage, too. 
The Longhorn-trim-based 10th Anniversary Edition package is all-new for 2021; it adds interior and exterior badges, soft and subtle brown leather interior upholstery, unique trim details, special carpeting, and even metal pedal covers. 

Technology 
We want you to keep your eyes on the road ahead at all times. Our new Head-Up Display helps you do just that. The reconfigurable display gives you real-time information like MPH, incoming calls, turn-by-turn navigation, and other stats you need to know while you go. 
Seeing the road ahead is essential, but so is knowing what’s happening behind! Our  Camera-Based Digital Rearview Mirror is new and features an LCD monitor that provides a real-time video stream from a rear-facing camera when switched on. 
Staying connected is critical. Available Uconnect 12.0 features an advanced 12-inch touchscreen with navigation, a customizable home screen with split-screen capability, pinch and zoom technology, and physical controls for necessary features. You can access all the things that matter right at your fingertips. 
Uconnect also allows you to connect your smartphone so that you can access all your most important contacts, navigation, send and receive calls, and listen to playlists and favourite podcasts. This is a feature worth having! 
Safety 
At RAM, your safety has always been our priority. This year, our Driver-Assist Package gained Pedestrian Emergency Braking on select 1500 models, allowing you to move ahead with unparalleled peace of mind. Other features available on our Driver-Assist Package include: 

Blind Spot Monitoring. If a vehicle enters your blind spot, our sensors alert you to their presence. Rear Cross Path and Trailer Detection are also available, so you can ensure trailer safety while you’re changing lanes by letting us help you see what’s in your path. It’s that easy and that essential.  

LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist. This system alerts you should you make an unintentional lane drift with a visual alert and a gentle guiding of the vehicle back into position. Too many drifts and we alert you that a coffee break might be worthwhile! 

360° Surround View Camera. You wouldn’t think a camera would be a safety feature, but this one certainly is. Between the camera and the power-fold trailer tow mirrors, you get a complete picture of your surroundings so that loading and unloading, hooking up a trailer, and parking are all done with confidence and complete safety. 

The Available Trailer Package includes Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path and Trailer Detection, Electronic Stability Control, Electronic Roll Mitigation, and Hill Start Assist, and a new option this year: a trailer reversing steering control system, trailer light checking, and tire-pressure monitoring. 
For 2021, the must-have and sought-after power-folding trailer mirrors and wired trailer camera preparation kit are now available as standalone options.
