What we know about the upcoming 2023 Chrysler Airflow

September 7,2022

The Chrysler Airflow will be the first electric vehicle from Chrysler when it arrives on the market likely at the end of 2023 or in 2024 as a 2025 model. The Chrysler Airflow will be a luxury electric vehicle aimed at the likes of the Tesla Model Y and Volvo XC40 Recharge, and promises to deliver great performance as well as impressive efficiency.

This is what we know so far about the impressive Chrysler Airflow which was revealed at the end of 2021.

We can expect plenty of power under the hood

The 2025 Chrysler Airflow will be fully electric and will feature a dual motor set up with electric motors front and rear. Chrysler says each motor will develop 201 hp and although we don’t have the final horsepower numbers, we can imagine that the new Airflow will offer over 400 hp and should reach 100 km/h in under five seconds.

We also expect Chrysler to offer a more affordable single motor version in either front-wheel-drive or rear-wheel drive configuration. Obviously, the dual motor version will feature all-wheel drive.

A lot of range as well

The Chrysler Airflow will get its power from a 118-kWh battery pack that promises to offer over 500 km of range. There will be different versions of the Airflow with different range numbers depending on the configuration of the powertrain. Chrysler says it wants the Airflow to have just as much power and range as the best versions of the Tesla Model Y or Ford Mustang Mach-E.

The Chrysler Airflow will be a luxury electric vehicle which means that we can expect all the latest safety technologies. It will include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, standard Lane departure warning with Lane keeping assist, and it should also feature a range of automated driving technologies. The infotainment system will be housed in multiple screens including driver and passenger displays, and even rear seat displays. Over-the-air updates will ensure that the Airflow is always packed with the latest features.
